About a year ago, me and my wife bought our very first home. It was a fixer-upper, but we were both excited to take on the challenge of transforming it into our dream home. We were prepared to work on the plumbing, floors, and walls. What we were not prepared for was the work of installing all new appliances. Up until then, we both assumed that you purchased an appliance, brought it home, plugged it in, and that was the end of the story. It didn't take long for us to learn that there was much more to the process, especially when dealing with an older home that lacked proper ventilation and appliance outlets. It is my hope that by creating this site, I will be able to give other homeowners like ourselves a place they can turn for the answers they need when dealing with this same problem.
